House of Ashes

A corpse rises in the swamps of New Orleans, and the last person to see the victim alive is Daniel Ash. His family is known for its witchcraft roots, and he himself can sense the loas. He didn't kill anyone, but he wants to find out who did. After all, ancient forces warn of danger to his family. The tale begins with "once upon a time, long ago." Southern Gothic starts with "you won't believe this shit!"
