Alexander Green (1880-1932) is an outstanding Russian writer, a representative of neo-romanticism, the creator of a fairy-tale world, his “Greenland” for dreamers. Inventing new countries and cities, he tried to transform the world - at least in his imagination. The heroes of his books became symbols of loyalty, courage and selflessness.
