Green Hornet

The Green Hornet is one of the earliest examples of multimedia characters. Appearing on shortwave radio broadcasts in the 1930s, the Hornet soon spread across all available media in the mid-20th century: comic books, movies and television. And in the... 1967 television series, Bruce Lee himself debuted as Kato, the Green Hornet's assistant! Modern viewers may be familiar with the Hornet from the 2011 film starring Seth Rogen. Comics about the Green Hornet are still published today by Dynamite; in 2010, the series was written by Kevin Smith.
