Glass City

Starting journalist Megan, sent on assignment by the student newspaper, could never have guessed that she would end up in a mysterious city where mobile communication doesn't work and instead of money, there are glass beads. Here, the lamplighter lights the lamps the old-fashioned way, the most respected profession is glassblower, and the city is ruled by Mayor Drosselflower, who plays the violin for his citizens in the evenings. Together with artist Britt and slacker Hugh, Megan discovers that there is no way back to the familiar and understandable world. It will take extraordinary courage to uncover its secrets and escape from the captivity of the Glass City....
