Field Marshal in the Jingles

The blind armorer's apprentice Peppo, by a ridiculous accident, becomes the owner of an ancient magical artifact. Even his already difficult life as a teenager is quickly spiraling out of control, as three people are hunting for the owner of this all-powerful item: a paralyzed duchess seeking healing, an inquisitor eager to impose a new faith upon the world, and a colonel who has fallen victim to the magical artifact and is firmly intent on destroying it. But Peppo is not in a hurry to part with his curse. After all, it may be his only chance to regain the long-lost sight.
