The Light of Eternal Spring

Amy was born and raised in a tiny Chinese village called Eternal Spring. But she has lived and worked as a photographer in New York for so long that she even dreams in English. After receiving a letter from her... sister written in Manchu, she is forced to go to a merchant in Chinatown to have it translated.

The stranger informs Amy that her mother has died of a broken heart.

Amy must return to her hometown – even though her mother can no longer rejoice in her wayward daughter’s return. This trip becomes a heavy trial, gradually destroying the identity that Amy has carefully built for herself all these years – which she has come to consider her true "self." She will have to rediscover who she is – to be reborn from the ashes, like a mythical phoenix. But for that, courage will be required…
