Anne of Avonlea

Anne is starting a new chapter in her life, she has turned 16, and she is full of hopes and plans for the future; nothing less could be expected from our dreamy acquaintance. Anne plans to work as a teacher, organizes a community society for the improvement of the village, and small twins appear in their house, but sad events will also take place. A few years after arriving on the island, she has gained many friends, earned the love and respect of the residents of Avonlea, but the confrontation with the entrenched norms of society, the traditional view of how a young woman should behave, cannot be avoided.
