Gap year, academic year — a break in education between school and college/university. In the USA and Europe, this is quite a common practice, as enrollment in higher educational institutions takes place in advance; a freshman has at least six... months to a year before classes start. This break is a very important time to realize your desires and goals, gain internship experience, and better prepare for the first semester in college or university. Learn to listen and hear yourself first, be competent in negotiations and setting personal boundaries! Spend your Gap year surrounded by pleasant people, learn to build relationships according to the system of circles, determine your self-worth, and love yourself. During this year, you will learn how to define boundaries with the society around you, find close and valuable people; you will learn to experience emotions, listen and hear, and most importantly ‒ establish contact with your parents and be able to communicate your desires and decisions to them effectively. Create opportunities for yourself to become better day by day!
