"Programmers" is one of the few board games that teaches programming from an early age. With it, children learn what algorithms are, how to build them and apply them in practice by controlling all-terrain vehicles on a multi-level board. The game trains logic, strategic thinking, attention, and imagination.

From simple algorithms to programming

Programming is a complex thing, and you can't just jump into it! Therefore, in "Programmers," players gradually progress from simple algorithms to more complex ones. It can be played from 6 years old — a simple version of the rules is provided for this. And for older kids and their parents, there is the main version of the game with a more complicated board and exciting rules.

Writing codes for all-terrain vehicles!

Each player's turn consists of several small actions that need to be planned in advance: moving forward, turning, pivoting, jumping, teleportation. This teaches understanding of what operations each action consists of — just like in programming! By taking turns and overcoming obstacles, players try to collect as many life samples on the game board as possible. At the same time, they need to watch out so that competitors do not snatch the rewards!

Exciting gameplay

In preparation for the game, players need to lay out hill blocks, life samples, and position all-terrain vehicles at bases in the corners of the board. Each player receives 5 command cards.

During a turn:

1. The player who just played draws cards up to five; the turn passes to the next player.
2. For each new type of sample delivered to the laboratory, the player receives 2 points; for each subsequent sample of the same type — 1 point.
3. Additionally, players can cunningly take life samples from other players and use teleportation. Details are in the rules ;)
