This is a biography of the romance between two young people who travel through New York in the 70s, quoting Nietzsche and Joni Mitchell.

The story begins on July 4, 1976, when students George and Anna meet on the night of America's bicentennial celebration. George instantly falls in love with the sensual, captivating Anna. But their romance is short-lived, and soon they part ways, each going their separate paths.
