The Girl from Legar Street

After Melanie inherited a mansion, she finally had the chance to meet her mother Jinette, an opera singer who returned to town after a thirty-year absence. Jinette assures her that their forced separation is a way to protect her daughter. But from what? At her mother's request, Melanie, who has the gift of communicating with spirits, makes contact with a dangerous ghost dwelling in the old house on Legar Street. She is aided by charming writer Jack and journalist Rebecca, who is overly interested in the paranormal events occurring in the city.
