Odyssey

The personality of the legendary ancient Greek poet Homer remains a mystery, but he is considered the author of the greatest monuments of world literature - "Iliad" and "Odyssey", with the glory of having stood the test of time. His poems have had a huge impact on world literature, enriched poetry with the canonical meter - hexameter, and provided material for historians of the customs and morals of that era.

The "Odyssey" contains a narrative about the adventures of the mythical hero named Odysseus during his return home after the Trojan War, as well as about the adventures of his wife Penelope, who awaited her husband in Ithaca.
