Anatoly Bukreev was a Soviet and Kazakh high-altitude mountaineer, honored master of sports of the USSR, holder of the title "Snow Leopard," climber of eleven eight-thousanders on the planet, and reached the summit of Everest four times. He was one of the first skyrunners in the CIS, a mountain guide working at high altitudes in the Himalayas, a photographer, and a writer.
