As we know, nostalgia is awakened not only by flipping through old albums and looking at photographs, — often, "culinary memory" turns out to be much stronger than anything else. Attempts to recreate "that very taste" revive our memories, filling... them with the brightness of the time lived.

In this book, I invite you to immerse yourself in that wonderful atmosphere of Soviet times, when doors weren't locked, guests lingered until the early morning, and the most delicious dishes were those made from whatever was at hand.

All the recipes in this book are filled with warm memories and made with Georgian flavor: since my childhood and youth were spent in Georgia. Like many dishes with a centuries-old history, the recipes have not undergone significant changes — so I think the reader will find it interesting to learn about (or pleasantly remember) a long-gone time.
