«Teenager» — one of the novels of the «great quintessence» of Dostoevsky — is written in the form of a confession, in the genre of personal notes. Obsessed with his own «idea», torn by internal contradictions, the main character witnesses the complex relationships of adults and experiences no less complicated feelings himself. The novel was illustrated by Vitaly Goryaev, reflecting in the broken lines of his drawing the hero's shattered consciousness, a turning point in life, the difficult coming of age of a proud and vulnerable young person.
