"Middle class", "economy", "family as a unit of the state", "politics", "constitution", "civic duty" – we pronounce these words and expressions without even realizing that their very existence is owed to Aristotle, the genius thinker who first introduced them in... his work "Politics", where he invented social and political philosophy, designating the study of social relations as an independent science for the first time in history. "Man is by nature a political animal," said Aristotle. But what political structure did he consider just? What social strata did he suggest relying on to best organize communal life in the state? And what did he see as the key to proper and rational state governance?
