On August 10, 1977, the New York police arrested David Berkowitz — the .44 caliber Killer, better known as the Son of Sam. Berkowitz confessed that he shot fifteen people, killing six of them in the process. During the interrogation, he made a shocking statement — a demon dog ordered him to kill. The case was officially closed. Journalist Maury Terry was suspicious of Berkowitz's confession.
