1418. Yegor Vozhnikov, a former Russian businessman, who almost accidentally found himself in the distant past in order to acquire unusual abilities, is now the Grand Duke of Russia, Georgy, the Elector of Livonia, and the chosen Emperor of the... Holy Roman Empire. After long European campaigns, Yegor-Georgy managed to seize power and build a great state that now needed to be defended: by military might, diplomacy, cunning… War was almost on the verge between England and France; in the Pyrenees, Castile suddenly rose against the friendly Portugal and Navarre, along with Leon and Aragon. And in the southern principalities, the plague suddenly spreads… Meanwhile, in Novgorod, the recognized capital of the new Rus, a rebellion begins — the worst people have risen against the strong. Feuds are starting in other principalities as well, and Yegor's loyal vassal — the khan's daughter of the Golden Horde, Aigyl, is being attempted to be overthrown from the throne by powerful enemies — the sons of the late Tokhtamysh. Tensions rise, and even the lives of the princely family are under direct threat.
