"Operation "Imperial"" is the first political novel written by the author during the collapse of the Soviet Union. It begins with an unexpected and seemingly fateful meeting in New York (for Soviet times - in a very complicated place) between investigator of particularly important cases under the Prosecutor General of the USSR Kirill Obolentsev and the émigré Rudolf Meyer. This meeting changed not only their lives, but the lives of many powerful people in the world. And when our hero began his quiet investigation, it thundered through many corridors of power.
