Grotesques.

The latest volume of the works of Hans Heinz Ewers, the «German Edgar Allan Poe» and Lovecraft's idol, features two cycles of the writer's stories - «Horrors» and «Grotesques».
Ewers' creativity, exposing the horror of human relationships, absorbed the traditions of... romanticism, decadence, and expressionism. The heroes of his stories find themselves in situations that require monstrous efforts of will and the tension of the darkest sides of human nature.
The collection of stories «Horrors» is presented in full. Ewers reworked the composition of «Grotesques» several times; in this edition, the reader will find the most significant works that entered various versions of this collection. A substantial part of the texts is presented in new translations. The book concludes with a passionate essay by Ewers about his favorite writer - Edgar Allan Poe.
