In the life of independent Scottish journalist and screenwriter Benjamin Mattson, the tragic event of September 11, 2001, left an unhealed wound – his fiancée was on one of the planes that crashed into the twin towers. Years have passed, Mattson is happily married and engaged in his beloved work, but that long-ago nightmare still haunts him, and Mattson begins his own investigation, repeatedly stumbling upon conflicting facts and egregious manipulation of public opinion. A scientific interview with a Russian mathematician working for a private company and a strange discovery in the Delaware Bay only add fuel to the fire of his anger.
