This challenging task is assigned by royal lawyer Roderick Tanner to two law students, Femi and Charlotte. His client is accused of murdering a young woman. However, Tanner is convinced that the real killer is still at large and decides to embark on a rather unusual experiment: to provide the students with the private correspondence of all those involved in the case, intentionally hiding all other details of the investigation. (Like us) they do not know exactly what happened and who is being accused of murder. Yet Tanner is sure that the true murderer can be determined from this correspondence. It contains all the clues. One just needs to read carefully between the lines, noting any suspicious details and discrepancies. Meanwhile, less than a week remains until the retrial, and then the innocent will end up behind bars...
