The Hermitage. Impressionists and European Painting of the Late 19th – Early 20th Century

The Hermitage collection of French painting from the second half of the 19th to the early 20th century, numbering around three thousand paintings, is world-renowned and rightfully considered one of the best. The masterpieces by Monet, Renoir, Degas, Pissarro, Sisley,... Cézanne, Gauguin, and Van Gogh are the pride of the museum's collection of Impressionists and Post-Impressionists.
