My Brother Walt Disney

Walt Disney would surely have liked the idea of a graphic novel about his life and work, – a bold idea right in his spirit! Especially since this story is told in the book by his older brother Roy Disney – Walt's closest friend and constant business partner, whom he trusted like himself. While Walt shone with a smile on newspaper front pages, Roy preferred to stay in the shadows. While Walt created, Roy made sure his brother did not lose touch with reality. Without Roy's business acumen, maybe Walt's fantasies would never have come to life on screen. Of course, there were quarrels and conflicts, and more than once the joint venture of the Disney brothers was on the brink of collapse… But we know that this little studio was destined to become a film empire!
