In 1934, the first story about the perfect nanny Mary Poppins was published, who organized the household of an English family and, despite her strictness, was beloved by her charges. She is not only a wonderful nanny but also a magician: she understands the language of animals and birds, has very strange and interesting acquaintances, and moves in a quite original way - she flies with an umbrella. She taught her charges, Jane and Michael Banks, to see the magical in the most ordinary things and not to fear any changes.
