Varvarin Island

The artist Andrei Davydov returned to Varvarin Island, where he lived in his childhood with his family. He is disappointed: family life has not worked out, and his career is stagnant. On the way, Andrei helped a woman with a deaf-mute girl: Klara was going to the island in the hope that the local saint would heal her daughter. A church was built in honor of the saint, but it is oddly located - not on a hill, but in a lowland… Davydov settles into his old house.
