Siberia, the 1920s, the most controversial decade in Russian history. On one side – the village council, Soviet power. On the other – a community, strictly adhering to the traditions of their fathers and grandfathers. The large family of Anfisa is in tune with the crazy spirit of the time: the mistress values wealth and status, so that the house is a full cup, to envy everyone, while her beloved son – a representative of the authorities – has different values.
