And again, Lady Joanna is at the racetrack, enjoying the familiar noise, chatter, and crowd. But not everyone plays fair: ruthless mafia members of Russian origin rob successful players and threaten to kill defiant trainers, jockeys, and even horses! What to do? Report to the police? None of the victims want to take the risk… And then Lady Joanna starts an unofficial investigation. She is assisted by her dear friend and former policeman Janusz, young horsewoman Monika, promising jockey Zigmund, and… willful racehorse Florence! The mafia has not the slightest chance of survival.
