Migratory Birds

The collection of artistic prose by Vyacheslav Malezhik contains lively and engaging stories on a variety of themes and in various genres, as well as a novella titled Migratory Birds — a story about Moscow teenagers who, in the mid-60s, discover rock and roll and learn to play this unusual music for a Soviet person. Among the characters, well-known figures recognizable to readers since childhood can be easily identified. The section titled Album includes interesting facts about the creation of the eponymous record by Vyacheslav Malezhik. Each song is dedicated to a separate chapter, and each chapter is a complete story: sometimes funny, sometimes lyrical, sometimes instructive, but invariably captivating. The book concludes with a selection of poems written by Vyacheslav Malezhik from 2016 to 2022, published for the first time.
