Table Game - Air Football

The table game «Air Football» is an interesting and useful speech therapy game! It develops speech breathing and forms a strong and smooth oral exhalation. These exercises will help the child correct speech deficiencies and learn to control the articulatory apparatus.

The goal of the game is to score more balls into the opponent's goal.

How to play?

• Place the ball in the center of the field, take the straws, and on the command, blow on it simultaneously.
• Make the game more challenging by asking the child to score not directly, but by hitting the side wall.
• For a single player, the task is to blow the ball into the right and left corners, as if passing the ball to the opponent.

Explain to the child how to perform oral exhalation correctly:

1. Take a calm breath;
2. Exhale air correctly, without any jerks;
3. When exhaling, shape the lips into a tube (do not puff the cheeks and do not tighten the lips);
4. During exhalation, the air should come out through the mouth, not through the nose.

The game is recommended for children over 3 years old and is designed for 1–2 participants.
