American Psycho

Patrick Bateman — a handsome, well-educated, intelligent young man. By day, he works on Wall Street, but that is merely a supplement to his true calling. What he does in the evenings and at night is unimaginable to the pampered civilian, even in their worst nightmares. He is twenty-six years old and lives his own American Dream.

The novel by Ellis, which has rapidly become a modern classic, was adapted by Mary Harron («I Shot Andy Warhol», «The Notorious Betty Page», «Diary of a Butterfly»), with lead roles played by Christian Bale, Willem Dafoe, Reese Witherspoon, Jared Leto, and Chloe Sevigny.
