Cartographers: Heroes

«Cartographers: Heroes» is a new standalone board game from the same series. Participants will arm themselves with tablets and embark on a mission from Queen Gimnax to explore the western territories of Nalos.

The «Cartographers: Heroes» box contains entirely new scoring, exploration, ambush, and decree cards. Additionally, new Hero cards have been introduced. The western region of Nalos is inhabited by warring draculas, and only the Heroes can destroy the monsters that hinder the expedition.

If desired, the «Heroes» version can be combined with the classic «Cartographers» with minor rule adjustments. The main feature of the game is that it allows an unlimited number of players, which has been preserved in this version.

A game of «Cartographers: Heroes» consists of four seasons, which together make up a gaming year starting in spring. Each season consists of several rounds, with each round containing 3 phases.

The main task of the players is to place shapes on their tablets that correspond to those revealed on exploration cards, following specific rules and limitations. Successfully placed shapes earn players gold coins.

If a Hero card is revealed from the exploration deck, all players mark one cell with the hero's image on their tablets and indicate the cells for the hero's attack. All monsters located in the attack cells are considered defeated.

If the exploration deck reveals an ambush card, players swap tablets with each other and place monster figures on them. At the end of each season, players tally the points gained from completing royal decrees. The cards played during the season are reshuffled back into the deck with the addition of a new ambush card, and a new season begins. The winner of the game is the participant who has accumulated the most points after four seasons.
