The story is adapted using Ilya Frank's method: it is equipped with a literal translation into Russian and necessary lexical-grammatical commentary (without simplifying the original text). The uniqueness of the method lies in the fact that memorizing words and expressions occurs through their repetition, without rote learning and the need to use a dictionary. Moreover, the reader becomes accustomed to the logic of the English language and begins to 'feel' it. The guide contributes to the effective mastery of the language and can serve as a supplement to the educational program.
