Board Games - Ludo. Snakes and Ladders

Two board games in one box – «Ludo» and «Snakes and Ladders»! The game represents a box, on one side of which is the game board for «Ludo», and on the other side for «Snakes and Ladders».

Rules of the game «Ludo».

For each player, there is a starting place on the game board – a base in the corner of the board; the exit from the base is the cell with a colored arrow corresponding to the color of the tokens; the finishing place is the colored track. The goal of the game: to bring your tokens home first. The tokens move from the exit of the base and must reach their home - the colored cells on the common path. Before the game starts, all players place their tokens in the corners of the game board, in the bases according to their color. Then the players take turns rolling the dice. The first player to roll a six starts the game and places their token on the start. Only upon rolling a six can a token be moved to the common path. Additionally, a roll of 6 on the dice grants a bonus move. The player can choose to move their existing tokens on the board further or bring another token into play.

Rules of the game «Snakes and Ladders».

Each player takes turns moving their token according to the number rolled on the dice. If a player's token lands on a square where the base of a ladder is located, the player moves it to the square where the top of the ladder leads, thereby skipping intermediate squares. If the token lands on the head of a snake, it must go down to the square where the tail of the snake leads. The ladder helps us to get up faster, while the snake brings us down. Players continue to roll the dice in turns until one of them lands exactly on the hundredth square. If a player rolls a number that exceeds what is needed to reach the last square, they must move backwards.
