Chess for Kids

Vladimir Zak is a famous Soviet chess player, a talented teacher, and a distinguished coach of the USSR. He taught for over 40 years at the chess club of the Leningrad Palace of Pioneers. It was he whom World Champion Boris Spassky names as his first teacher.

Yakov Dlugolensky is a wonderful children's writer, prose writer, historian, member of the Writers' Union of Russia, and a laureate of several literary awards, including the All-Russian Literary Award named after S. Marshak.
