Basic Course of Military Translation. Vietnamese Language

The textbook "Basic Course of Military Translation (Vietnamese Language)" is an introductory course in the discipline of "Military Translation". It is intended for students of language universities studying the Vietnamese language and can also be used as an additional resource when teaching special courses on translation from/to Vietnamese. The material of the textbook consists of three thematic blocks (nine lessons), which are fundamental for the professional thesaurus of a military translator: "Armed Forces and Organizational Structure", "Military Service and Personnel", "Types and Branches of Troops". Each lesson contains authentic text, a terminological dictionary with morphemic analysis, lexical-translation commentary, and a system of exercises (lexical, for the formation of basic terminological competence (about 300 units) and the development of skills in written and visual-oral translation of military texts in Russian and Vietnamese).
