"The 'Veles Book' could not have been created by some 'forger' in the 18th or 20th century; it is a multi-layered historical and literary monument, the seeming contradictions of which are caused by a certain compilation of legends and historical testimonies, reflecting, quite possibly, the history of different, although related, tribes and peoples" - from the expertise of the 'Veles Book' conducted at the initiative of the Academy of DNA Genealogy.
