Locked in a world of heteronormative expectations, queer Marquis Emile longs for independence. On the night of the full moon, amidst similar visual family squabbles, Emile discovers a mutilated body on the grounds and immediately reports it. But he has no idea what measures Count Montoni is willing to take to keep his family secrets.

As Emile delves deeper into the affairs of this house and becomes entangled in supernatural events, his inquiries attract the attention of the handsome doctor Bram and the charming nephew of the count, Henry.

But how can he earn the trust and affection of Bram without revealing his true identity and hidden desires? And how can he trust, let alone fall in love with, Henry— a man as fickle as the ever-changing moon?
