Island of the Sleeping Woman

April 1937. Commercial sailor Miguel Hordan Kiriatsis, stoically choosing a side in the Spanish Civil War, unexpectedly receives a stunning assignment: at the head of a motley crew of mercenaries – or rather, pirates – to blow up Soviet transports that deliver military cargo to the Republicans in Spain via the Aegean Sea. Upon arriving at the base located on the tiny Island of the Sleeping Woman, Hordan encounters its owners – Baron Katelos and his wife Lena, a wonderful mature woman who is desperately seeking salvation from her hopeless fate.
