In the east, among the people of the Tamerlain clan, a disease is spreading. While the healer Sidra desperately searches for a cure, her husband Torin, the new leader of the clan, tries to get answers from the spirits. But the further he wanders into the realm of elementals, the more lost he and the entire clan become. In the west, Jack decides to pick up the harp and cross the clan's border, not only to reunite with Adaira but also to unravel a sinister secret that will give him the knowledge necessary to defeat Bain and restore peace to the island.
