There are separate chapters on the principles of Yama (what to abstain from) and Niyama (what qualities to strive for), stages of yoga, as well as contraindications to practice. In each chapter, there are numerous exercises that reinforce the theory: “concentration at the point of contact,” “energy ball,” meditations with chakras from muladhara to sahasrara, “breathing-light,” and even unique druid practices.
