In Dune, you will become the leader of one of six great factions. Each of them strives to control the most valuable resource in the universe – melange, a mysterious spice that can only be found on the planet Dune for a fortune. As Duke Leto Atreides says: «Everything pales before melange. A handful of spice can buy a house on Tupile. It cannot be produced; it must be harvested on Arrakis. It is unique and has truly geriatric properties». Without melange, space travel would be impossible. Only by taking this addictive drug can the Navigator of the Guild continue to see the future, charting a safe course through hyperspace.
