random passersby. Only your team of clairvoyants can help him find peace. Close your eyes to see dreams sooner, interpret what the ghost wants to say, and name the criminal. Hurry up, you have only a week ahead!
Game objective:
To be the first to uncover the details of the crime (identify the suspect, the crime scene, and the murder weapon) before the allotted time (a week) runs out.
Determine who among the players will take on the role of the ghost - the game master. The game master will need a notebook and pencil or a good memory.
Before the game starts, the ghost-master must determine a plot for each participant. The other players should turn away or leave the room for a while so that each plot remains a secret from them.
The ghost player rolls the dice for each participant three times. The first roll determines the suspect, the second - the crime scene, the third - the murder weapon. The result for each player must be written down or remembered. The notes must be kept in a way that the other participants cannot read.
In the first stage of the game, the ghost-master shows the players dreams that will help guess the suspect. The ghost takes twelve cards from the «Dreams» deck and gives each player two cards that, in their opinion, hint at the identity of the criminal for each player.
After all players have received their cards, they are given time to think. Players may show each other cards and discuss what the ghost's message might mean. After 3 minutes, players must vote: place their tokens on the image of the suspect on the game board that they believe figures in the ghost's messages. Attention! Players may have different or the same suspects, crime scenes, and murder weapons.
After voting, the ghost tells the players whose guess is correct and whose is incorrect. The ghost can indicate this with gestures or words but cannot give any hints to the participants except for the images on the «Dreams» cards. All cards used in this round, except for those remaining in the ghost's hands, are sent to the discard pile.
Those players who have identified their suspect will determine the crime scene in the next turn. Those whose guess was incorrect continue to guess the criminal.
At the beginning of the next turn, the ghost moves the time token to the next day on the calendar. They also discard the remaining cards in their hands into the discard pile, take twelve cards from the deck, and redistribute two cards to each player. This continues until players determine all details of the crime (the identity of the suspect, the crime scene, and the murder weapon) or until time runs out.
Three times during the game, the ghost may discard all cards in hand and take twelve new cards from the deck if necessary.
If the «Dreams» deck runs out, it is necessary to thoroughly shuffle the discard pile and then continue the game.
The game ends when one of the players reveals the crime scene, the identity of the criminal, and the murder weapon. They have helped the ghost - the master of the mansion - uncover the mystery of the past. This player is declared the winner and the best clairvoyant of modern times.
If after a week no player has uncovered the mystery of the crime, the team of clairvoyants has lost. Try your hand at a new game to help the ghost of the master of the mansion.
