"Satipatthana Meditation. A Practical Guide". A distinctive feature of this book is its orientation towards a very broad audience, which has only the most general understanding of Buddhist teachings and is primarily interested in the practical application of mindfulness practice to improve the quality of their daily lives. In this book, the author, based on the analysis of a number of sutras, shows that the Buddha himself spoke about the necessity of applying methods of mindful observation to our ordinary activities in order to harmonize and integrate them with the spiritual path. In particular, he provided instructions on mindful eating for better health and developing mindfulness in relationships with others in order to cultivate moral behavior. At the end of each section, Bhikkhu Anālayo includes exercises that allow for the practical application of the corresponding theoretical ideas.
