The task and main difficulty is to accept oneself entirely, to the very bottom: to acknowledge and hold within oneself one's arrogance, egocentrism, tendency to compel others to do something, and other dark truths about oneself that we are so reluctant to admit, instead of stubbornly denying and avoiding them. All of this constitutes the negative side of our shadow, which, with the right approach, can turn out to be not so much a threat as a promise, for in that which is bad, we can find the best.
