Board Game - The Secret Grail

"The Secret Grail" – is a team game with hidden roles. Participants secretly split into followers of good and evil, after which they embark on a series of quests. To achieve victory, the forces of evil must secretly act and sabotage 3 quests, while good wins by successfully completing them or revealing all villains.

Players engage in arguments, use bluffing and persuasive arguments, proving that they are the ones worthy of participating in the quest. After the discussion, the leader selects mission participants, and they secretly lay down one card each, determining the outcome of the quest. If there is at least one "Failure" card among the chosen cards, evil celebrates victory – the mission has failed.

By the way, this edition includes a game variant called "Director's Version", as well as a promotional set of additional characters.

The game takes place over several rounds, each consisting of three phases: gathering the party, the quest, and passing leadership. During the game, good and evil try to outsmart each other, concealing their true intentions and pursuing their own goals.

Your adventure begins with the phase of gathering the party. The leader discusses with the players who deserves to go on the quest. In turn, they all try in every way to convince him of their usefulness. Once decided, the leader distributes party tokens to the selected participants. He also designates one player as the bearer of the magic token, which prevents them from playing a failure card.

Next, the chosen ones embark on their journey, and the phase of the quest begins. Each party member receives two cards – success and failure – and secretly chooses one. Good characters must choose success, while evil ones can act at their discretion. The leader then shuffles the cards and reveals them. If there is at least one failure card among them, the quest fails.

Finally, the concluding phase of the round is the phase of passing leadership. The old leader selects a new one. The leader cannot be someone who has already held that position. In a game with six or more players, talismans are also passed, allowing the validity of participants to be checked.

The game continues until three victories or three defeats are recorded.

If three quests are successfully completed, good celebrates victory! However, if three quests (or two in a game with four players) fail, the final confrontation begins. This is the last chance for good to triumph.

The final test lasts exactly 5 minutes. During this time, players discuss and try to guess who belongs to the forces of evil, and then point out the suspected traitors. If all villains are exposed, good wins! Otherwise, evil triumphs, plunging the kingdom into darkness.
