Thai Language. Self-tutor

This self-tutor is intended for those who study the Thai language independently. It allows you to develop the speech skills necessary for communication and reading simple literature, and master the fundamentals of grammar: the lessons of the self-tutor familiarize you... with the grammatical features of the language and the commonly used conversational vocabulary. Having mastered it, one can easily handle any situation when directly communicating with the residents of Thailand. For quick memorization of common speech constructions, carefully read the collections with lexical material, which is accompanied by transliteration (the thematic list is provided in the contents). In each lesson of the self-tutor, you will find descriptions of lexical-grammatical categories of all parts of speech, exercises for memorizing the studied material, texts using active speech structures. To check the completed exercises, answer keys are provided at the end of the book. The lessons of the self-tutor are supplemented with a dictionary that can be used for translating unfamiliar words encountered in the exercises. The book also contains information of a cultural nature, which will undoubtedly be useful during a trip to Thailand.
