Enamel badge - Rear Range Lighthouse

The rear range sign of the Kronstadt raid ("Wooden Lighthouse") – a range navigation sign, which over many years of its existence has become one of the symbols of Kronstadt. Built in 1949, it is an ornate metal tower, covered... with wooden planks, painted white with vertical red and black stripes on the southeast side. The difference between a navigation sign and a lighthouse lies in the visibility range of the light. The light of the navigation sign is visible at a distance of up to 10 nautical miles, while the light of the lighthouse is visible from 10 nautical miles and beyond.
