The Rear Sector Beacon of the Saint Petersburg Marine Channel is a lighthouse located on an artificial island in the area of the Big Kronstadt Raid. Built in 1914 from a new material for that time - concrete. Recently celebrated... its centenary, the lighthouse continues to operate reliably. The lighthouse operates autonomously, without a keeper, and the power supply for the modern LED lamp is provided by batteries charged by solar panels. The picturesque lighthouse, surrounded by ice in winter, has long been a favorite spot for landscape photographers.
