Speech Therapy Vocal Exercises. Automation of Difficult Sounds

In speech therapy, there is a special system for mastering the sounds of the native language: first, the pronunciation of vowel sounds is practiced; then syllables with "difficult" consonants are articulated - [s], [z], [sh], [zh], [ch], [shch], [ts], [l],... [r], and finally, the targeted sounds are differentiated.It is in this order that the author suggests mastering the "speech therapy vocal exercises," which begin with the simplest articulation exercises and end with complex ones in intonation, content, and speech material, such as songs.Each musical section concludes with poems for recitation, which the author recommends as a kind of speech exam for assessing achievements in speech therapy correction.
Reciting poems and songs for better memorization is suggested to be accompanied by specially selected exercises for preschoolers.The book may be useful for speech therapists, defectologists, music leaders in kindergartens, in correctional educational institutions, in choir and theater studios, as well as for parents.
